We got this as a christmas present for our dog and so far he loves it. I was a little surprised to read the negative reviews. Our dog was too. I guess in comparison to some other Kong merchandise it's maybe not as durable because it has seams, but we wanted something that was good for inside that would dry up and not stay all soupy. Right now it's his favorite and he makes sure to have it with him always. He's a big boy about 80lbs and while we indulge in some tug-of-war it's not something we engage in often as it creates a dominance attitude and can lead to torn or ripped toy. We are concerned about the the seams so if it rips we will give an update.***UpdateUnfortunately within less than a week-- four days to be exact we have our first tear in the pet stix. It's too bad too because our dog loves this product but I can't see him having this much longer than a week from now with the stuffing already pouring out of the seams. We had high hopes for this as an indoor toy for our dog, but it's heading straight into the trash soon. It was fun while it lasted. Don't think I'd repurchase this product based on the performance thus far. If there was a reinforced product with similar shapes and materials we'd probably consider it, but we need something durable to be sure.
