So far so good. This frisbee has withstood the first test of durability that most other toys have not been able to pass. The two furry companions and toy shredding experts have been fighting over this frisbee outside under supervised conditions for a week or two now. They are not at all kind to the frisbee and like to drag one another along the grass with the frisbee as the tool for tugging. They fight over it like the winner is going to become King Pup.They have covered it completely in slobber, biting nearly every inch of it in their chasing one another around the yard and not only is it still in one piece, but if not for some dirt and grass caked on by slobber you would barely know its been used.It flies pretty well, it is extremely forgiving to the house (yes I hit it a few times) and the pups have now learned that if they beg enough to go outside and stare at me once they are out there I will break down and throw it for them for awhile.I will eventually update this if they ever manage to destroy it and how long it took. One thing that is important is that they ONLY get this frisbee while they are outside so they are not chewing on it in the house like they do other toys. This Frisbee is amazing. My dog loves to play Frisbee but was always frustrated he couldn't get a grip on the hard plastic ones. After breaking all the plastic ones I looked to see what else I can get and found this amazing Kong Frisbee. Its pretty heavy duty and doesn't really go as far as a regular Frisbee but my dog loves it! He can just snatch it up off the ground and can chew on it without shredding it to pieces. We've already bought 2 because we're afraid of losing one since he loves is so much!Had one given as a gift in 2019 and bought a backup in Nov 2021. We LOVE this frisbee for our shepherd/malinois/cattledog mix. He is an intense frisbee player, and also loves to gnaw on his frisbee when not playing catch. We often left the frisbee outside in the elements so the older one (2019) finally gave out this week (9/2022) when another husky mix pup was playing and chewing it. Likely some dry rot on the frisbee contributing to this. The other from 2021 is still in excellent shape. Would recommend!!!The larger version is heavy and I'm having difficulty throwing it accurately. I have the small one as well and it's lighter and easier to throw accurately. I've quit using the large one. I'd recommend the small one for any dog. My dog loves it and you don't hear teeth chomping on plastic when he catches it. It's also easier for him to scoop up a bad throw off of the ground at full speed. Can't to that with a harder plastic one. I have Hyperflite Jawz and those are incredible to throw and are durable, but he can't pick it up off of concrete without some effort bouncing on it to get it to pop up. The kong one he can pick up no problem. So far now bite/chew marks, it's not meant to be a chew toy and he could easily destroy it. luckily he's too darn tired to be bothered with all the frisbee throwing we've been doing. My GSD loves this frisbee. He will chew on it a bit but it takes a while before he wrecks it. If you RE-Order be careful you pick the right size. I picked the item off my last order and didn’t realize the small size was checked automatically even though I last ordered a large frisbee. Same price for the small vs large. I gave him the small one anyway and he was fine with it but just something to keep in mind when picking items off your previous “orders” list. We’ve got three blue Heelers who tear up most toys. They love normal frisbees, but they’ll chew them until they break or until the edges are so rough that they end up cutting their mouth. This disc is so durable that they can tug against each other with it, yet soft enough that they’ve never hurt their mouths. Absolutely awesome! It is a little heavier and harder to throw than a normal frisbee, but it’s benefits far outweigh that small downside. Our puppy loves chasing this doggy disc. We are having tons of fun with this new toy. The dog seems to love carrying this around in atypical ways like folded in half and it has held up great. We don't let the puppy chew on this at home and just play with it at the park so I think it will last a long time. We have had it a couple of months so far.Durable, easy to use-no practice necessary to make it truly sail thru the air. Unlike many others safe for my dogs teeth.Very well made and my dog really likes catching it mid-air-it stays level allowing for quick mid air retrieval. We both love this one! Great exercise and quicker to tire out the dog as well as the mental stimulation the dog receives is worth the money and time. Great productThis has been the best purchase of any of our puppy's goodies by far. It is lightweight and has been the perfect training frisbee for our Cockapoo who started using it at the age of 3 months old... and caught the frisbee bug ever since. We,be trained her to retrieve and drop the frisbee at our feet, which took some work, but we got there in the end. She loves letting new people throw it for her and revels in confusing them when she decides to keep hold of it for a little longer. Whoever you are, for what ever reason you have wandered onto our driveway (be it Postie, delivery guy or Jehova Witness) Marly is insistent that everyone takes a go at throwing the frisbee for her.The simple, and comparatively small, red frisbee is a marvel in the park when we go on our walks. It folds in half nicely for it to go in your pocket or bag so you don't lose track of it on the walk home. The frisbee comes into its own, as with all frisbee, when we take the pup to the beach. It gets to the point where we have to limit her frisbee time otherwise she'd exhaust herself (and she does frequently). She'd just keeps going and going and going.I read before I purchased this Kong frisbee that it was cheap and plastic and wouldn't last long. All I can say is that there are zero big marks on its surface and Marly doesn't really tend to sit and nibble it - she's more interested in finding her next throwing assistance. You may notice my review is only for 4 star as the product is so worth a 5 star. I have sadly had to deduct one star as our first (lasted 9 months) frisbee was lost in the North Sea of the North Norfolk coast on Saturdy. Despite it being designed to float, it didn't stay above the waterline longer than a few seconds before dipping below. A search ensued, accompanied by our puppy, but sadly we had to let it go. Luckily the new one we ordered is identical and I'm looking for a walk to the beach to play with this one. These are awesome. My dog "Mac", Border Collie, will chase this all day long. He chooses this as first choice every time going down the park, and believe me with all the balls in the garden, he HAS choice :)It is a strong and flexible rubber around 2mm thick. It fly's great, and he has not chewed this one up. I'm not sure if it's because he likes it so much, or he is too tired after all the running.Unlike his balls or sticks, he refuses to give it back at the end of playtime, and insists on carrying it home.If I try and get it back off him, he refuses. If I somehow DO get it off him, he will jump up on me until I give it back for him to carry home...It's quite funny.10/10Would I recommend to friends and family... yesWould I buy again ... yes ( and Mac says yes too)Thanks for reading, and I hope some information was useful. It is was, I'd appreciate a click on "yes" against "Was this review helpful to you" below. My dog loves the frisbee, almost too much... Yeah - too much. He hasn't got Jaws of Steel or anything, is just a regular Australian Shepherd, but certainly likes to have a chew of the frisb between throws. I've tried several discs now and after the last one died thought this Kong model with it's good reviews was worth a go. It very, very much wasn't and is probably the worst item of dog-gear I've bought. After ONE half hour session the disc showed small splits in the rim. After a couple it was significantly torn and after a week of daily use it was no longer useable. Additionally it is really heavy and to throw it any distance without injuring your arm isn't easy.
