Well made. Won’t peel off like the tennis balls. My dog absolutely loves these balls. Got regular tennis balls and he didn’t want them. These he loves. My dog is on his 2nd ball of the 3 ball pack. His has the 8ball, basketball, and soccer ball. I gave him the soccer ball 1st. He really enjoys his ball. I had bought this pack for $2.84 through the Amazon primes add on program. I enjoy that they don't squeak and my dog doesn't seem to mind they don't squeak either. They are heavier than an average tennis ball. I bought the medium size which is about the size of a regular tennis ball. I enjoy they are nonabrasive to the dogs teeth(my dog has blunted teeth due to using regular tennis balls when he was younger,I had no idea that would happen as my previous 2 dogs always had tennis balls. This was before dog toys were manufacturing special nonabrasive tennis like balls for dogs).i have a 4 1/2yr old 65# border collie. The medium size is perfect for him. He just loves this ball. My problem and why I marked it a 2 star is he's had the 1st ball about 2 weeks. I noticed yesterday that it had split and broken open close to a seam about 1/2 the distance the size of the ball. I hadn't noticed right away as ball kept it's shape and I noticed it when he was chewing on it. I expect more from a Kong brand toy and am very disappointed. Had I paid full retail price of almost $7 I would be quite upset. Seems as how I got 3 balls for under $1 each, not so much. I don't know what is going on with Kong but this is the 2nd toy in under a month(other toy being the Kong medium sized barbell) which has split apart at or close to the seams in about a 2week time period. I buy Kong brand toys because they used to make them much better and I had success with them lasting a very long time like 6months to a year. In previous times when I used to give my dog tennis balls this never happened, my dogs seemed to have their tennis balls last forever if they didn't lose them. If Kong is trying to imitate a tennis ball in all except the abrasive felt pelt(which on tennis balls can abrade teeth and wear the poor dogs teeth down) they should be lasting longer. Samson, my dog isn't one to tear apart his toys anymore and plays with his toys under supervision so I know how he behaves with his toys. With these balls he fetches with them, keeps ball in his mouth as he runs around the yard moving his mouth in up and down biting type motion as he runs. It's like he uses his balls as a pacifier. The heavieness of the balls did bother me at first, but it doesn't seem to bother Samson at all, I just use care in throwing them as they could easily break a window or hurt the dog if the ball bopped their body with any force. My dog likes to bop his balls with his nose. He will bop(hit) it back to me sometimes when I throw it to him. He can't "bop" with this ball. Or at least he hasn't. I think he senses the heaviness of the ball would hurt. I don't think I'd recommend anyone buying these balls unless the other 2 balls in pack last longer. I gave him the orange basketball uYesterday, he doesn't seem to like it as much as the shocker ball...we will see...The toy came quickly and as described. I had bought two, one for a friend's pooch and another set for my sister's dog for Christmas. We gave Lincoln his Christmas morning and he was very excited. He is a small dog- a shitzu and lhasa apso mix. He went crazy for them as soon as he saw them but managed to chew threw the first one completely dismantling it in less than 10 minutes. I was very surprised by this as he has many other toys, cloth frisbees, ducks, a moose, rope, etc and all of them have lasted for quite some time. The balls felt like they were pretty sturdy but definitely did not hold up to this fluffy dog. I bought them in the small size which seemed perfect for his mouth but he devoured them. He was already taking apart ball number two shortly after and the third only survived by rolling under the couch. So they were very well liked, but if your dog is a big chewer who will sit there and just gnaw apart a toy, perhaps this is not the one for them. If your dog is a smaller dog who just loves to play fetch, this would be a great fit. At least they were a great price so I didn't feel too bad that they were going to last maybe thirty minutes total with his really not very sharp teeth.Great size for small dogs. They’re about 1.5 inches.I own a chihuahua and she felt left out when the “big dogs” have theirs and could play catch. She now has hers. They are small and perfect size. She now feels like a big dog now! The three balls are made exactly like an actual tennis ball. It comes as a basketball, soccer and baseball. They are just a little big for her to carry it, but she’ll play with them for awhile then moves on. Kong makes great products and they are worth the money. I had spent more money on non Kong toys to just have to replace them after one day! With Kong they really do last. The shipment came quick. The packaging was great and no damages whatsoever. Due to their size, I’d keep them in sight since they are so small you can step on them. Otherwise, a great product.I bought these balls after trying them in a large pet store. The purpose was for us to be able to place them in a tumble toy ball we have, we tried this in the store and it worked well. The store had the balls marked as a size small so thats what I ordered. Once they arrived and i tried to place them inside the tumble ball they did not fit. I guess we needed an extra small but agin the store said small. They are great for normal play but since I have a cane corso puppy, small is way to small for her to play with. I hate that she cant play with them, they are super cute and seem to be well made but just to small for such a large breed dog. we will be taking them to our local SPCA for donation. My eight pound shih tzu LOVES these balls. She's my obsessed with playing catch, and these balls are the perfect size for her to be able to catch in her mouth. They feel a bit harder than Kong's yellow tennis balls in x small size, and they don't squeak. But they seem to last longer than the yellow balls. I've read other reviews saying these balls get fuzzy, but mine have not done this. Very happy!I bought these for my chihuahua and they aren't small enough for her. When I read the description about them lasting longer than a tennis ball, I though that they would be just what I needed. But they are so hard that I'm afraid of hurting her if she gets in the way as I throw it, or that I would end up breaking something. I ended up giving them to a friend that has a bigger dog. They really just need a better description so people know exactly what they're getting.Went for the large that are bigger than a standard tennis ball and have no squeaker. Basket ball and football styles. Our dog is deaf- we aren't!As it said it was stronger than a tennis ball I had high hopes. They arrived and are so cute. Pup loved them. But my elderly staffy had it for about 3 minutes before it split. Such a shame. On inspecting the back it does say for light chewers it the amazon listing implies stronger stuff. Will have to keep on searching for a ball that can handle the jaws of a staffy for more than a few minutes. Only one tennis ball has come close and never found the same one again. It's the holy grail quest for sure!My Malamute loves his Kong balls. Large is a good size for big dogs with big mouths!! Much bigger than a standard size tennis ball so it won't get stuck. It's a good tough ball, not many last longer than 24hrs before being punctured but these have! Stronger than the Kong squeek tennis balls and theres no squeek! (Thank god!!!!)These balls are a complete waste of money and I would never buy them again. .I bought them as they are similar to ones my dog has had before and played with for months. They may be similar in appearance but they're certainly they're not the same ones - my Springer chewed through the first one of these balls in less than ten minutes. The other 2 went the same way shortly after. It says on the back of the pack: "For light chewing only". What dog only chews balls lightly?Hi,Bought this product a few days ago.Advert says the ball squeaks … it does notGerman shepherd had the large size ball in its mouth for two minutes and the ball burst.. no squeaker inside ..I reckon this item is not Kong as I’ve bought their products before and they were quality ..this is not ..Don’t buy .. it’s junk ..Fast delivery and super quality, they seem expensive but last longer than the small lighter tennis balls which split within days of playing fetch with my two little dogs. There are softer rubber balls on here though, that are excellent for avid chewers who love playing fetch.
