I wanted a smaller carabiner for my keys at work. I wanted something that had a good weight ratting, I thought there had to be something better that the cheap 150lbs aluminum ones. The hardware store steel ones have very sharp corners and always poke and would scratch my belt.This one foots the bill. The gate feels pretty strong for its size. All the edges are smooth. It is rated for something like 1300 lbs. I will probably pick up a few more.
