Our 4-month old golden retriever puppy never got into the "traditional" kongs - no matter what we stuffed them with, she never had the patience to sit there and lick it out (the best we could do was just use dry kibble and she'd kick it around until it all fell out...) - so these Kong Tires are PERFECT for her. We ended up buying 4 so we always have some on hand in the freezer ;)You can put in a smear of peanut butter, some yogurt, banana bits, dry kibble, or - my favorite - soaked wet kibble, and either give it straight to your pup, or freeze it for more of a challenge. She LOVES the tire, and it'll keep her happy in her crate for so much longer than a traditional Kong ever did.So if you have a puppy that frustrates easily, this is definitely a good "easy"/appropriate challenge that they seem to enjoy!
